A respectable 92-year-old woman, baroness of her state, was watching an elegant man at a Cuban swimming pool. When asked by her malicious daughter-in-law, "What are you looking at?", she answered without hesitation, "He has a beautiful bottom". Her daughter-in-law then answered, "I chose your son because of his bottom". An ethnological and sociological reflection is lead by Professor Döpp on this fascinating matter that brings the most incongruous revelations. The Author
Hans-Jürgen Döpp taught for a number of years at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, where he gave courses on psychoanalytical interpretation, as well as the cultural history of erotic art. For the past thirty years, he has been an avid collector of erotic art and has gained international recognition through various exhibitions and publications. He is the author of a book on the Erotic Museum of Berlin.
